McDOWELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Dallas Paul Biddix, 12 Jul 2005

MARION - Dallas Paul Biddix, 95, of Marion, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at his
home. A native of Burke County, he was the son of the late Andy A. and Lena
Lowery Biddix. He was a member of Peppers Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and
was a retired machinist from Coats America with over 25 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Lowery Biddix, of the home; one son, Robie
Biddix of Marion; two daughters, Roxie Ledford of Old Fort, and Wanda
Cerminaro of Marion; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great
great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Westmoreland
Funeral Home. Revs. Mike McGuire, Lee Cook and T.J. Addison officiated. Burial
was in Biddix Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at
the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family at 1941 Peppers
Creek Road, Marion, NC 28752.
