Joseph H. Wilson and William Johnston, Executors of William Carson dec'd and 
James Carson by J.H. Wilson and William Johnston, his next friend
vs.
John Carson, Matthew Carson, Joseph Blevins and Jane, his wife; James Carson 
and the next of kin and heirs at law of Robert Carson, deceased, names unknown 
with the exception of John, the next of kin and heirs at law of Smith Carson, 
deceased, viz: John A. Carson, -- Robison and his wife, Margaret and N. Price 
and wife, Elizabeth, Robert Carson and Andrew J; an infant, and David Carson

Petition for probate of will

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant/defendants, James Carson, the next of kin and heirs at law of Robert 
Carson, dec'd, names unknown with the exception of John; the next of kin and 
heirs at law of Smith Carson, dec'ed, viz - John A. Carson, --Robison and 
wife, Margaret, N. Price & wife Elizabeth, Robert Carson and Andrew J., an 
infant and David Carson reside beyond the limits of this State: It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant non-resident to be and 
Appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for said 
County at the Court House at Charlotte on the 4th Monday in July next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte will 
be made as to them.

April AD 1845
