JEREMIAH ALDERSON

Original Attachment: Levied in the hands of JOSEPH WEEKS and JOHN WEEKS, 
Executors of JOHN WEEKS SR., dec'd, and them summoned as Garnishees

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JEREMIAH 
ALDERSON, is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordere4d by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying said defendant to be and appear at our next Court of Pleas & 
Quarter Sessions to be held for the said County at the Court House in 
Charlotte on the 4th Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, answer 
or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, judgment will be taken pro 
confesso and heard ex parte as to him. Witness, BRALY OATES, Clerk of the said 
Court at office on the 4th Monday in October A.D. 1840.
