Houston vs. Joseph S. Hodges Attachment levied on a stock of goods consisting of calicoes, domestic, shoes, bonnets, caps, muslims, hardware, cloths etc. etc. Also levied in the hands of Edwin Alexander, William McGinnis and P.B. Hodges and them summoned as Garnishees It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants had removed beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant non-resident to be and Appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for said County at the Court House at Charlotte on the 4th Monday in July next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise judgment will by default will be rendered against him.
