Sarah E. Hill vs. Miles Hill

Petition for Divorce

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant/defendants, Miles Hill resides beyond the limits of this State: It 
is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for three months in 
the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant non-resident to be and Appear 
at our next Superior Court of Law to be held for said County at the Court 
House at Charlotte on the 4th Monday in February next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte will 
be made as to them.
