March 31, 1842   Charlotte Journal March 31, 1842
   To give a fresh impulse to improvement in the Husbandry of our County, it 
is proposed to hold a public meeting at the Court House in Charlotte on 
Tuesday of the ensuing April Court, at which an Agricultural Society for the 
county of Mecklenburg will be organized. The Farmers of this county  are 
generally and most respectfully invited to attend.
