October 31, 1832 UNFORTUNATE OCCURRENCE -- At a house-raising in Charlotte a few days ago, MR. JAMES WALKER was so much injured by the falling of a log that his life is despaired of. The accident is ascribed to the too free use of ardent spirits by some of the hands.
