Potts Bound Over to Federal Court

Oscar Potts, the white man who attacked Mr. A.J. Blandis Friday night while 
the latter was in charge of a local mail wagon, was bound over to Federal 
Court by United States Commissioner J.W. Cobb yesterday afternoon in the sum 
of $250. The offense is a violation of the Federal statute which protects the 
mails and all employees while engaged in the performance of their duties. 
Potts was drinking heavily and thought the mail wagon was driven too close to 
him on the square, so he followed the other to the Selwyn Hotel.
