March 29, 1844    Charlotte Journal
   DIED, on the 7th instant, at his residence, in the 44th year of his age, 
MR. CALVIN G. ALEXANDER. His disease was pleurisy. He was a member of the 
Sugar Creek Church in which he held the office of Ruling Elder.
