Mr. R.C. Bell, of Providence, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.E. 
Cunningham, last Saturday night at 9:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness of 
several months.

Mr. Bell was 68 year of age. He leaves a wife and three children, Mrs. Roane 
of Wilmington, Mr. James Bell of this city, and Mrs. W.E. Cunningham of 
Providence. He was also a brother-in-law of Capt. Ardrey, Mrs. R.M. Miller and 
Mrs. Potts, of this city. The funeral was conducted yesterday at 12 o'clock by 
Rev. T.P. Bonner, from Harrison's Methodist church, of which he was for many 
years a consistent member and faithful officer.

Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Miller, Mrs. Potts, F.I. Osborne, and C.W. Tillett went 
yesterday to attend his funeral.
