Aug  29., 1845           Charlotte Journal
   We learn that on Sunday last, THOMAS BLACK was killed about six mmiles from 
Charlotte on the Lawyer's Road, by the falling of his horse. His horse 
stumbled and he was thrown over his head, and killed by the animal's falling 
on him.
