Mrs. Violet O. Bradburn, age 50, wife of Charles M. Bradburn of 2836 Barringer 
Dr. died Friday, March 15, 1963 in a local hospital.  Born Feb. 14, 1913 in 
Kings Mountain, N.C., daughter of the late Lon and Clara Sims Oliver.  Mrs. 
Bradburn worked for Parks Cramer Company for a number of years, was married to 
Charles M. Bradburn in 1938.  Funeral will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. Harry 
& Bryant Chapel in the Oaks.  Dr. Hatcher Elliott, Minister of Commonwealth 
Baptist Church officiating.  Interment in Sharon Memorial Park.  Survived by 
her husband, Charles M. Bradburn,one son, Robert Thomas Bradburn a student at 
N. C. State College in Raleigh, four brothers, George Oliver, James Oliver, 
Edward Oliver, all of Charlotte, Jasper Oliver of Raleigh,one sister, Mrs. 
Bessie Miles of Charlotte.  Pallbearers:  Donald Bumgardner, James Rodgers, 
Robert Allen, B. M. Greenway, W. M. Butler, Charles Kerr.
