Jan. 29, 1851   Charlotte Journal
   DIED, in Mecklenburg, on the 27th instant, of consumption, MR. JOHN 
CAMPBELL, in the 61st year of his age. In the death of MR. CAMPBELL a large 
family have to mourn the loss of a fond husband, indulgent gather,  kind 
master, and society, a valuable friend. He was a  long time member of Sugar 
Creek Church and at the time of his death was a Ruling Elder.
