A large crowd of grief stricken relatives and friends gathered a the residence of Captain T.J. Cureton this morning at 10 o'clock to join in paying the last sad tribute to the memory of his lovely daughter, a notice of whose death appeared in these columns yesterday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Miller, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, of which the deceased lady was a consistent member. Her pastor spoke words of incalculable comfort to the bereaved parents, telling how, in life, she had placed her trust in Christ, and had now entered upon that life which is eternal. At the close of the services the remains were escorted to Elmwood Cemetery and committed to mother earth, there to repose until the resurrection morn. The loveliest of lovely flowers cover her narrow home today; but lovely as they are, they are not to be compared to the loveliness of that pure, sweet flower which has been transplanted by angel hands from earth to heaven.
