Miss Julia Cureton, the eldest daughter of Capt. T.J. and Mrs. Rose Cureton, died at the residence of her parents in this city at 2 o'clock this morning, after an illness of two months, with typhoid pneumonia. This lamented young lady was but 17 years of age. Possessed of a sweet and gentle disposition, she was loved by all who knew her. Her death is mourned as only that of the bright and pure and young can be. "Death fell upon her like an untimed frost, Upon the fairest flower of all the field." She was a member of the First Presbyterian church. The funeral services will be conducted from Capt. Cureton's residence, No. 209 West Eight street, at 10 o'clcok tomorrow morning. The following will be the pall-bearers: Ernest Keerans, Will Wearn, J.K. McCreight, Joe Moss, Will Read, B.K. Bryan.
