   DEPARTED THIS LIFE, on the 31st ult., in the 33rd year of his age, the REV. 
WILLIAM DUNN of the Baptist denomination. The deceased was born in the State 
of Maine in the year 1808 of repectable parents. In the year 1833, he was 
brought by Divine Grace, to the knowledge of the truth as it is in Jesus, 
united himself to the Methodist denomination, and became a traveling preacher 
in that connection until 1836. In this year, his mind became much exercised on 
the subject of Baptism, which resulted in the conviction that it was his duty 
to be buried with Christ in that ordinance. He was according immersed in 
wateer upon a profession of faith in Chirst on the 7th of August 1836. From 
that time forward he enter upon the duties of an Evangelist. He has left a 
widow and two children to mourn their loss.
