   We understand that MR. DAVID FIEW, of Mecklenburg, committed suicide on the 
16th ult. by hanging himself with a bridle in his barn. We understand he had 
been laboring an aberration of mind for about three or four months. He was a 
very respectable and steady man, and had been an Elder in the Philadelphia 
Church for a number of years.
