Mrs. Minnie A. Garreaux, wife of Mr. Ernest Garreaux, died at her home in this city at nine o'clock last Saturday night, after a brief and painful illness. The deceased lady was well known in Charlotte, where she had a large circle of friends. She was a sister of Messrs. Frank and Ballard Blair. The funeral services over her body were conducted from the residence at 3:30 o'clock yesterday by Rev. Jas. Y. Fair, pastor of the Second Prebyterian church, of which church she was a member and at the conclusion of the ceremonies at the house, the body was escorted to Elmwood Cemetery and consigned to its last rest.
