Death of Dr. Grier

Dr. A.S. Grier, of Pineville, died last night at 11:40 o'clock at the 
residence of Mr. June Russell, in this city. Dr. Grier had been in failing 
health for some time. He was persuaded to come to Charlotte. He did so, 
arriving here only Wednesday night. He was taken suddenly ill Thursday night, 
and never rallied. Deceased was about 38 years of age. He was a brother of 
Mrs. L.A. Potts and Mrs. J.A. Russell. He leaves a wife and one child.
