April 18, 1845           Charlotte Journal
   DIED, at his residence in Madison County, Tenn., on the 6th of March, 1845, 
JAMES GRIER ESQ., son of the late THOMAS GRIER, ESQ., aged 61 years and five 
months. He was born in Mecklenburg County, N. C. and emigrated to Lincoln 
County, Tenn., in 1809 and in the spring of 1832 settled in Madison.
