Jan. 13, 1842  Charlotte Journal
   DIED, in Charlotte, on the 6th inst., MRS. DORCAS HAPPOLT, aged 33 years, 
consor of DR. J. M. HAPPOLT, leaving a bereaved husband and a family of seven 
children to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate wife and a fond and 
doting mother. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church until the time of 
her marriage. In January, 1838, she joined the Methodist Episcopal Church in 
Charlotte.
