Died

In Mecklenburg county on the 29th ult., Mr. Samuel Harris, one of the oldest and 
most respectable inhabitants of said county. He died in the 87th year of his age, 
after a lingering sickness of five weeks and four days. He died as a christian, 
supported by an unshaken and well grounded hope of eternal bliss and happiness. He 
has left an aged widow, many sons and daughters, and a large circle of friends and 
neighbors, to mourn their irreparable loss.
