HENDERSON BURIED IN STEELE CREEK The funeral services of James Elam Henderson, who died Sunday night in St. Louis, and whose remains were brought to this city Wednesday night, were conducted Thursday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Watt in Steele Creek, Mrs. Watt being a half sister of Mr. Henderson. Rev. John W. Orr, pastor of Steele Creek Church, conducted the service, which was largely attended. Mr. Orr made a brief talk on the "Resurrection," and the hymns, "Jesus Saviour, Pilot Me," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" were sung. Forty years ago Mr. Henderson left Steele Creek to make his home in the West. His last visit here was about 30 years ago. The interment was in the family lot in the cemetery at Steele Creek.
