Funeral services will be conducted at the chapel of Z. A. Hovis and Son, 230 North Tryon street, this morning at 10 o'clock. All old soldiers and friends are requested by H. D. Duckworth, adjutant of Mecklenburg camp, Confederate veterans, to be at the service and help honor the memory of a "boy in grey." No relative is known in the county. The deceased was a faithful attendant at the camp meetings as long as he was physically able. For the past several years his health was such that he was unable to do any work. His comrades knew him as a good soldier.
