Feb. 20, 1846        Charlotte Journal
  DIED, on the 10th of October last, at his residence, near Nation Ford, DAVID 
HUTCHISON, ESQ., 76 years old. The deceased a native of Ireland, emigrated to 
this country before the Revolutionary War. His elder brothers engaged in the 
war of independence, one of whom fell in the cause of his adopted country, in 
an assault at daybreak on the Tories at the Hanging Rock -- the other served 
throughout the war.
  At the close of the Revolution he removed to York District, where he 
continued to reside until the close of his life.
