   DIED, in Mecklenburg, on the morning of the 3rd instant, MISS JANE E. 
MATTHEWS, daughter of HUGH H. and JANE T. MATTHEWS, in the 52nd year of her 
age. She was for many years a member of the Presbyterian Church.
