Daily Concord Standard, (Concord, NC), Thurs., Nov. 2, 1899
Mrs. Sarah MONTGOMERY Dead.

For only a few days has Mrs. Montgomery, the widow of Mr. JAS. MONTGOMERY, been
sick at the home of her brother, Mr. DENSON CALDWELL.  But she passed her 80th
birthday last March and her body easily succumbed to death's call when all pain
ceaseth.  She died at 9 o'clock today (Thursday).  She was the widow of JAS.
MONTGOMERY, of Mecklenburg county, who died about a year ago.  She has three
brothers living -- Mr. DENSON CALDWELL, of this place, and Messers. JNO. M. and
WM. L. CALDWELL, of Mecklenburg county.

The remains will be taken to Mecklenburg county tomorrow and interred in the
Back Creek cemetery.
