MRS. ELIZABETH MORRIS was born in Mecklenburg Co.,N.C., in 1797 from whence 
her parents removed and settled in Rutherford Co., N.C., when she was but a 
child. She was married to JOHN MORRIS, who died in 1835, after whose death she 
resided with her daughter, MRS. JAMES D. BIVINS, first in South Carolina, and 
for three years preceding her death.
