Mecklenburg Co, NC - Obituary of Mary N. (Banker) Mason, wife of James Mason
and daughter of John and Elizabeth Banker.

From the January 3, 1918 issue of The Charlotte Observer:

MRS. M. N. MASON DIES AT HOME IN THE COUNTY

    Mrs. M. N. Mason died at her home in Berryhill township, Mecklenburg
county, yesterday morning, at the age of 90 years. She had been ill for the
last two years. Funeral arrangements had not been made last night, but the
service will probably take place at the home today. Mrs. Mason was born and
reared in this county, and a greater part of her life was spent here. Until
about two years ago she had made her home in Charlotte. She was a woman of
exceptionally fine character, a devout Christian, and had hundreds of
friends both in the city and county.

Contributors note: Mary N. (Banker) Mason is buried at Sugaw Creek
Presbyterian Church cemetery.
