Jan. 20, 1842  Charlotte Journal
   DIED, on Sunday, the 16th of January, 1842, about 12 o'clock, at his 
residence in Mecklenburg County, MR. J. T. J. ORR, aged about 35 years, 
leaving an affected widow, four small children, and an extensive circle of 
friends to mourn his loss. DR. ORR was a member of the last Legislature of 
North Carollkna and possessed the esteem of all who knew him.
