Charlotte Observer, September 29, 1905
Mr. F.J. Rebman died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home at 
Seversville.  He had been in ill health for a long while and had been confined 
to his room for several weeks.  The funeral services will be conducted at the 
residence this afternoon at 5 o'clock, with Masonic honors.  Rev. Mr. Waller 
will conduct the services.  The interment will be at Elmwood.

Mr. Rebman was a native of Charleston, S.C., but had lived here during the last 
thirty years.  Since coming to Charlotte he has engaged in the mercantile 
business.  He was 61 years old, and is survived by a son and a daughter and two 
grandchildren.
