OTTO REEVES DIED THURSDAY OF DIPTHERIA Greensboro Woma Passes Away at Home of Her Sister Here--Funeral to Be Saturday. Mrs. Otto A. Reeves, of Greensboro, died Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. J. H. Holt, 1913 East Fourth street. She was taken with diptheria Monday morning and grew steadily worse until the end. Final arrangements for the funeral are withheld pending the arrival of her husband from Fairmont. It will be held sometime Saturday at Greensboro or Asheville. Two small children survive: Virginia, age 4, and Dorothy, age 2. Also surviving are the mother, Mrs. A. C. Willis, of Asheville; two sisters, Mrs. Holt, of this city, and Mrs. H. P. Clayton, of Asheville; and two brothers, Thomas J. Willis, of Charlotte, and George E. Willis, of Asheville. The deceased was 28 years old and was formerly Miss Virginia Willis, of Asheville. Her father was the late Capt. Thomas J. Willis, of Greensboro, who died about ten years ago. Captain Willis was a brother of Mrs. R. L. Vernon, of Myers Park. Mrs. Reeves was born in Greensboro and lived there morst of her life, spending a few years in Asheville. She was educated at Greensboro College for Women. She held membership in a Methodist church in Asheville. Mr. Reeves is a tobacco warehouseman, conducting businesses in Lexington, Ky., Gretna, Va., and Fairmont, N. C. He arrived in the city last night from Fairmont. The deceased came here for a visit last Thursday.
