ALEXANDER ROBINSON, a long-time member and for a number of yeears a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church. Possessing the social virtues in a high degree, and being controlled by the elevated principles of the Gospel, he was agreeable and useful in his family, his neighborhod, and the Church, of which he was an officer. He was much beloved, and his death is greatly lamented by all his acquaintances who appreciate integrity of character, Christian example, and Christian influence. His disease was the pleuresy. It was violent and its nature and rapid in its progress. Additional Comments: The date of death is given in separate editions, first as the 26th, and second as the 24th. The second article may be a correction, so I have taken that date as the correct one.
