MRS. RUSHING DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

After an extended illness, Mrs. Rena Rushing, 61, died Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at 
the home of her cousin, J. F. Worley, 1103 North Tryon street.

The funeral was conducted Friday afternoon at the residence by Rev. C. O. 
Williams, Pastor of Statesville Avenue A. R. P. Church.  Burial was at Oaklawn 
cemetery.

She is survived by three cousins, J. F. and S. J. Worley, of charlotte and Ed 
Worley of Monroe.  for some time she had made her home here with her cousins.  
She was a member of a Baptist church at Monroe.
