Charlotte News, September 24, 1890
Funeral of Gilmer Shaw.-The funeral services over the body of little Gilmer 
Shaw were conducted this morning from the residence of his parents, by Rev. 
Chas. W. Robinson.  The services were attended by a large concourse of 
sympathetic friends, and the body was buried in Elmwood.  The pall bearers 
were:  Messrs. John Elliott, Morris Anderson, John Creswell and T.T. Gilmer.
