Mr. Anthony G.W. Sherbert, formerly of the Charlotte Cotton Mills died 
yesterday from consumption. Mr. Sherbert was a young man, only twenty-two 
years old and was highly esteemed by those who knew him. He was to have been 
married a short time since, but the wedding was postponed on account of his 
sickness. The funeral services were conducted this morning at 10 o'clock by 
Rev. R.C. Reed.

Mr. Sherbert willed his house to his mother, providing that at her death it 
should go to his sister, Mattie. His watch and other personal effects he 
willed to his brother, Henry.
