Hill & Co. Funeral Home, by the Rev. Donald E. Trump, Suffolk. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerald Howell, Maurice Howell, Bernard Hyman, Emuel Ballard, Maurice Arnold Rhodes and Everett Spivey. Spivey, 60, died Thursday in a hospital. A native of Windsor, Va., he was a son of Napoleon and Mrs. Mary Babb Spivey and the husband of Mrs. Ethel Daub Spivey. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, James Hurley Spivey of Charlotte; two sisters, Mrs. E.D. Howell of Smithfield and Mrs. G.E. Ballard of Windsor; a brother, Grafton R. Spivey of Windsor and a grandchild.
