May 14, 1840     Charlotte Journal
   DIED, in Mecklenburg, on the 3rd inst., suddenly, JOHN WEEKS, ESQ., leaving 
a wife and several children to mourn his loss. MR. WEEKS was among our best 
citizens, and society has lost a useful member.
