HENRY WHEELER DEAD. Funeral of Traveling Man Deferred Until Friday So That Sons Can Arrive Tomorrow. Mr. Henry E. Wheeler died Tuesday night at 10 o'clock at his home, No. 1203 North Tryon street, after an illness of several months. The end came suddenly, the patient suffering a decided change for the worse a short time before death came. Mr. Wheeler was born in Auburn, N. Y., and was 56 years old. He was a traveling man, and hence absent from the city most of the time. He was married twice. He is survived by his wife and several sons, the latter living in New York State. The funeral will be deferred until the arrival of these. Therefore it will not occur until Friday afternoon, interment being made in Elmwood cemetery. One son, a ministerial student, was here yesterday. Rev. H. H. Hulten, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the service. Although Mr. Wheeler had not been long a Charlotte resident and his duties took him much away from the city he was highly esteemed by those who knew him.
