Quiet Home Marriage in the County

Miss Ella Lorena Potts and Mr. A.H. Barnette were married yesterday afternoon 
at 3 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. 
Potts, in Lemlys township. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. J.M. Grier, 
of Washington. The wedding was a very quiet affair with but the immediate 
family and a few intimate friends present. After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. 
Barnette drove to Charlotte, where they boarded a Southern train for Jamestown 
and points North. Those present at the marriage from Charlotte were Mrs. C.W. 
Johnston and Miss Flora Johnston and Dr. J.E.S. Davidson.
