Cards were issued yesterday announcing the marriage on the 24th inst. of Mr. 
W.M. Barringer and Miss Daisy Potts, both of this city.

Tuesday, Miss Daisy Potts and Mr. W.M. Barringer will be married, the ceremony 
to take place at the home of the bride.

A quiet but pretty wedding was that of Miss Daisy Potts and Mr. W.M. Barringer 
which took place last night at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. J.G. 
Potts. The parlor was simply but effectively decorated. Promptly at 9 o'clock 
the bride, attired in a becoming and dainty gown of soft white silk mull, with 
the bridal veil enveloping her person, and carrying a large bouquet of callas 
and maiden hair ferns, entered on the arm of her betrothed, and before Rev. 
Dr. Preston the two covenanted to "live together after God's holy ordinance 
until death do them part." After the ceremony the guests, consisting only of 
relatives and a few friends, enjoyed the usual wedding refreshments.

The bride is the daughter of the late J.G. Potts, and a niece of Capt. W.E. 
Ardrey, of the Mint. She has many friends here and elsewhere who have been won 
by her bright, attractive ways.

The groom is a member of the firm of Barringer & Stone, and is one of 
Charlotte's best young business men. He and his bride received a number of 
pretty presents.

On account of the illness of the groom's father, their bridal trip will be 
postponed until later.
