Marriage Yesterday Afternoon

Mr. Harry Engelke of Richmond, Va., was married at the Baptist church in this 
city yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock to Miss Mamie West, daughter of Mr. 
Thomas W. West. The ceremony was preformed by Rev. A.G. McManaway and was a 
combination of the Episcopal and Baptist forms. The church was very tastefully 
decorated with flowers and evergreens. There was no attendants, but Messrs. 
Stewart Newcomb, Edward Creswell, David Whitt and William Davidson acted as 
ushers. The newly wedded left for their future home in Richmond, accompanied 
by the congratulations and good wishes of their many friends in Charlotte
