The Young People Spring a Surprise on Their Families and Get Married

Mr. Jno. F. Tedder, son of Mr. G.M. Tedder, of this city, was married to Miss 
Mollie Ramsay, at the home of her brother, Mr. R.H. Ramsay, on North College 
Street, at 9 o'clock yesterday morning by Dr. A.C. Barron. The young couple 
left as soon as the ceremony was performed for Morristown, Tenn., the home of 
the groom.

Mr. Tedder and his bride stole a march on their people, took them by surprise, 
and were wed. Mr. Tedder is a master mechanic and lives at Morristown. He said 
nothing about coming home and his family sent him a Christmas box. But he was 
thinking of other things. Though he wrote but little he had planned to come 
and get his sweetheart. She was in sympathy with all that was doing. She came 
home from New York, where she worked as a trained nurse and the result is as 
told above. Everybody was willing and the bride and groom went forth with good 
wishes from one and all.
