Particulars of a Happy Marriage Occasion in Bethel Church

Sheva, June 7 - On the evening of the 6th inst., in Bethel Presbyterian 
church, by the Rev. J.M. Grier, Mr. John Miller and Miss Lucy Potts, both of 
Lemley's township, were married. The groomsmen were Messrs. J.M. Potts, J.P. 
Wilson and Leonard Alexander; the bridesmaids Misses Anna Miller, Minnie 
Wilson and Miss Bolls.

The church was beautifully decorated by the young people of the neighborhood. 
Miss Minnie Alexander was organist. At half past 8 o'clock the contracting 
parties, with their attendants, marched in before a large audience who had 
assembled to witness the ceremony and were made one by the officiating 
minister after a beautiful prayer.

Mr. and Mrs. Miller returned to the home of the groom, together with the 
attendants, where a reception was given. They will remain at present at the 
groom's father's, and may make their home in Asheville this fall.
