Miller and Miss Estelle Ross - The Newly Wedded Leave for a Trip to New Orleans Mr. Robert M. Miller, Jr. was married today to Miss Estelle Ross. The ceremony was performed at 11:30 a.m. by Rev. Dr. A.W. Miller, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Sarah Ross. The bride was dressed in a stylish traveling suit of gold brown cloth, and carried a large boquet of flowers in her hand. Immediately after the ceremony, the newly wedded were escorted to the Richmond & Danville depot, where they took the train for New Orleans. After a two week's stay there, they will make a two week's tour of Florida, returning to Charlotte early in March. The marriage was a quiet affair, the invitations being limited to only a few friends of the contracting parties. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Miller, Mrs. R.M. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. P. Wheeler, Mr. Miller Wheeler, Mr. D.A. Tompkins, Mr. Bigelow, Mr. Frank P. Smith, Mr. W.C. White, Mr. E.W. Stitt, Mr. and Mrs. Jno. W. Miller, Mr. Ed Bell, Miss Bessie Alexander. The bride and groom were the recipients of a large number of handsome and valuable presents, including a solid siver service from the North State Club. The bride's present from the groom was a pair of handsome solitare diamond earrings and diamond brooch. The union of this young couple is a particularly happy one. Mr. Miller is one of the model young business men of Charlotte and is universally popluar wherever known and the circle of his acquintanceship extends throughout the State. The bride is one of Charlotte's fairest young ladies, around whom an admiring circle of friends has always been drawn by her vivacity, her beauty, and her charming disposition. Very numerous and hearty are the congratulations bestowed upon them by their many friends.
