To be Married To-Night

Dr. Montrose is to be married tonight. The News a day or two ago received 
official notice of the approaching event in the shape of a card of invitation 
which reads:

 Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Tolbert
request your presence at the
 marriage of their daughter
         Salle A.,
            to
      W.S. Montrose,
Thursday, May and, at 8 p.m.,
at their residence, No. 15, N
Poplar St., Charlotte, NC
           1889

The ceremony is to be performed by Esquire D.G. Maxwell, who will be assisted 
by Dr. J.T. Bagwell. It will be private and will be witnessed by only a 
limited number of friends to whom invitations have been issued. Dr. and Mrs. 
Montrose will reside in Charlotte, the doctor being pastor of the newly 
established Maxwell chapel, near the spoke of handle factory
