The pretty home of Mr. and Mrs. Potts had been made doubly attractive by artistic decorations, the room in which the ceremony was performed being tastefully attired in ferns and cut flowers. Promtply at 8 o'clock the bridal party entered the parlor, while Mrs. J. Lloyd Ranson rendered Mendelson's Wedding March. Entering first were the bridesmaids, Miss Allie Potts and Miss Lillie Russell, daintly dressed in white batist and carrying pink carnations. Following them came the bride and groom who took their places before a bank of ferns where the solemn words of the marriage ceremony were beautifully spoken by Rev. W.A. Cleveland, pastor of Steele Creek Presbyterian church. The bride of last night is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Potts, of this city, and is an exceedingly attractive young lady, and in her wedding gown of hand-embroidered batist, her veil held in place with a white rose, she made a charming picture. Mr. Price is a prominent young farmer of lower Steele Creek and by reason of his fine traits of character has won for himself many warm friends. The many beautiful presents which admiring friends lavished upon the young couple attested to the esteem in which they are held in this community. After a delightful but very informal reception, Mr. and Mrs. Price left for western North Carolina where they will spend their honeymoon. After their return, they will make their home with Mr. Price's mother, Mrs. Will Price in Steele Creek.
