White, will be married on the 24th inst. to Mr. Theodore O. Cauble, manager of the Linconlton Telephone Company. Miss White will give up her position with the Queen City Telephone Company Saturday night. The marriage will take place at the residence of the bride's parents. Very many people will regret Miss White's departure from the telephone exchange, though they wish her all happiness. She has been, consistently, a faithful, courteous and reliable operative, and is known to be such by the community at large. The Observer wishes to add its meed of praise and congratulation. The paper has exacted much of the young lady and has never been disappointed. In the trials of election returns, when time was everything and quick telephonic communication was imperative, and, continuously, in other matters, great and small, The Observer as put the patience and capacity of Miss White to the test; and the sometimes harrassed man at this end of the line has found measure of comfort in the ever cool and cheerful "all right" that answered any instruction or request. And, so, may life and living be ever all right with the young couple.
