Charlotte Observer - Sep 7, 1900
Married in Raleigh

Letters from Durham and Raleigh were received today by the relatives of Miss 
Adele Lawrence, announcing her marriage to Mr. Allen Thomas. The ceremony was 
performed in the Catholic rectory of Raleigh by Rev. Father Griffin.

The bride made her home in Charlotte with her grandmother, Mrs. T.C. Myers, up 
to last June. Whilst in Charlotte Miss Lawrence made many friends. She will be 
missed in social, as well as Church circles. She was librarian of the Sodality 
in St. Peter's church and a promoter in the League of the Scared Heart. 
Charlotte friends wish for her and her husband a long and happy wedded life.
