Marriege Today

Mr. Lucian Walker and Miss Annie Jones were married at St. Peter's Episcopal 
church at noon today. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a select 
party of invited friends by Rev. Dr. Jos. B. Cheshire. Mr. John M. Walker, 
Jr., brother of the groom was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Walker left this 
afternoon for Blowing Rock. 

The bride is the daughter of the late Dr. S.B. Jones and is a young lady of 
unbounded popularity. Mr. Walker, who had the good fortune of winning her 
heart and hand, is a young business man well known in Charlotte where he has a 
friend in all who know him. 

The newly wedded received many handsome presents.
